Weeknumbers and corresponding dates


Year 3 of the CTS Pop/Jazz course is divided into 2 semesters and each semester is divided into 4 blocks.

 

Block 1.1 starts around 11 september (week 37)

Block 1.2 starts around 20 november (week 47) 

Block 1.3 starts around 12 february (week 7)

Block 1.4 starts around 23 april (week 17)

 

The focus in the first semester is mainly writing for hornsection (2-6 voices, different voicing techniques)

The 2nd semester will continue with writing for strings and Bigband scoring techniques.
